In 1993 the guesthouse Pitsinades was created by the complete renovation of a group of houses, at least 100 years old, under the supervision of the architect Antonis Hatziyiacoumis. All the traditional elements of the local architecture have been preserved converting the old buildings into a modern and practical guesthouse which operates since then. Recently it has been revamped and its furnishings renewed.
The medieval village of Pitsinades is situated in the centre of the island of Kythira with easy access to beaches of Agia Pelagia, Paleochora, Kaladi, Lykodimou. It is 1km away from Aroniadika and 5km from the airport and Potamos.
